There is no end to learning. I love that thought—but lately I've been pondering something even deeper: God doesn't simply ask us to learn. He teaches us how. “Seek learning, even by study and also by faith.” This week on enLIGHTen, we're talking about what happens when STUDY and FAITH come together. I'm sharing three books that have brought light into my life and helped me think differently about three areas of discipleship: SACRED TIME — making the Sabbath a true place of restoration. SACRED PACE — slowing down enough to notice truth and notice people. SACRED STEWARDSHIP — caring for the remarkable mind and body God has given us. And underneath all of it is Christ's beautiful invitation: “Learn of me.”

What if building God's kingdom doesn't always look like we think it does? . Sometimes it looks like scripture study and temple worship . And sometimes it looks like making lunch. Driving carpool. Changing a diaper Listening to a hurting child Cleaning Goldfish crackers out of the car Or getting up one more time in the middle of the night . We wear so many hats . Mother. Wife. Teacher. Creator. Driver. Friend. Disciple. . But maybe God isn't asking us to perfectly balance every hat . Maybe He's asking us to let Him be the purpose underneath them all . The widow brought only two mites . Others gave far more . But Jesus saw her heart . She gave her heartfelt all . And maybe that's what He asks from us too . Not everything all at once . Not someone else's offering . Just ours . In this season In this moment With our whole heart . 🤍 What are your “two mites” today?

A garment isn’t created all at once. It’s made one stitch at a time. Maybe our families and our faith are built the same way. One prayer. One apology. One prompting followed. One act of forgiveness. One choice to love. 🤍 The little things can feel insignificant—but every stitch matters. And when we make a mistake? We can go back. We can repair. We can begin again. That’s the beauty of Jesus Christ. The mistake doesn’t have to become the pattern. We may only see the thread in our hands. God sees the whole garment. 🧵✨ So keep praying. Keep loving. Keep following those little promptings. You never know how the stitches you make today may warm generations to come. Give God your thread. FAMILY 🤍 Of all the things we build in this life, few matter more than the relationships we build with one another. And they take work. They take forgiveness. Time. Teaching. Listening. Putting down our phones. Showing up again and again. This week on enLIGHTen, Megan from @defense_of_family joined me for a beautiful conversation about why family is worth fighting for. We talked about the prophetic power of The Family: A Proclamation to the World, the influence of parents and grandparents, the strength that comes through our ancestors and the temple, and the hope Jesus Christ gives us when our families don't look exactly as we hoped they would. One thought has stayed with me: Today is not eternity. God sees beyond the struggle we're experiencing right now. He sees generations. He sees what came before us and what can come after us. And through Jesus Christ, He is still working in our families—even when we can't yet see how the story will end. Family really is God's masterpiece. So put down the phone. Make the call. Sit around the table. Tell the stories. Say you're sorry. Go to the temple. Love the people God has placed in your life. Fight for what lasts forever.

CONFIDENCE.
The world teaches us to "believe in ourselves.The scriptures teach us something even greater:Believe in Christ. Believe in our Covenant Connection to God. Believe that Family matters more than all that stands against us.
When Elisha declared, "They that be with us are more than they that be with them," nothing about the visible circumstances had changed. But heaven was already present.

This week we explored what it truly means to Shine Not so much to draw attention to ourselves— but to reflect Jesus Christ . Jason Paul @latterdailysaints reminded us that disciples are like the glass on an overhead projector . The glass isn't the source of the light— it simply allows Christ's light to be seen more clearly . Our calling isn't to become the light . It's to let His light pass through us . Brooke Johnson @whyiloveamerica Shared how gratitude for God, America's founding, and those who sacrificed before us gives us courage to preserve freedom for the next generation . Freedom isn't something to admire from afar— it's something to protect, teach, and live . Together we discovered that shining begins with personal repentance, grows through gratitude, and becomes brighter as we courageously stand for truth

What if belief is more than simply agreeing with truth? What if belief is trusting Jesus enough to step onto the bridge before you know how everything will work out? Throughout history—from Abraham to Moses, from the Pilgrims to the pioneers, from Alma's people to our own families—God has always invited His children to walk forward by faith before they could see the destination. Jesus never promised a life without storms. He promised Himself. As Alma taught, when people turned to Christ, "their souls were illuminated by the light of the everlasting word" and "their souls did expand." Belief changes us. It loosens chains. It enlarges hearts. It fills darkness with light. If you're carrying something heavy today... Hear His invitation: "Be not afraid, only believe."

From Christopher Columbus crossing an unknown ocean,to Gutenberg preparing the way for scripture,to the Pilgrims seeking religious freedom,we see that the Lord has alwaysguided His children one step at a time.
I loved all these powerful historical insightsshowing how revelation often comeslong before we understand the reason for it.
When venturing into the unknown we too can follow the quietguidance of the Holy Ghost—who not only teaches us new truth,but reminds us of the truthalready written on our hearts.

Today I sat down with Judge James Jones to talk about The Constitution and what it means to Stand Fast in Liberty.
To stand fast means to hold your ground when truth is challenged, to remain faithful when culture shifts, and to trust Christ enough to keep standing even when you're standing alone .
Freedom has always required faithful people.
May we stand fast in the liberty Christ has given us and use that freedom to build His kingdom with courage, conviction, and love.
"Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free."— Galatians 5:1

.Freedom is more than a just national blessing—it is a gift that points us to Jesus Christ.
